Each summer, the NHL Network attempts to navigate through the slow summer crawl by releasing various lists, such as the top players at each position. These lists will feature the top players in the league organized by rank and covers centers, wingers, defensemen and goalies.

This week, the NHL Network decided to take a look at the top 20 wingers in the NHL. Obviously, it goes without saying that these lists are subjective and your own personal list may not align with the views of the NHL Network, but nevertheless, here are the ranks they settled on.
1. David Pastrnak - Boston Bruins.
2. Matthew Tkachuk - Florida Panthers.
3. Nikita Kucherov - Tampa Bay Lightning.
4. Mikko Rantanen - Colorado Avalanche.
5. Jason Robertson - Dallas Stars.
6. Mitch Marner - Toronto Maple Leafs.
7. Kirill Kaprizov - Minnesota Wild.
8. Alexander Ovechkin - Washington Capitals.
9. Artemi Panarin - New York Rangers.
10. Brad Marchand - Boston Bruins.
11. Steven Stamkos - Tampa Bay Lightning.
12. William Nylander - Toronto Maple Leafs.
13. Kyle Connor - Winnipeg Jets.
14. Brady Tkachuk - Ottawa Senators.
15. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Edmonton Oilers.
16. Jake Guentzel - Pittsburgh Penguins.
17. Johnny Gaudreau - Columbus Blue Jackets.
18. Clayton Keller - Arizona Coyotes.
19. Mark Stone - Vegas Golden Knights.
20. Patrick Kane - Unrestricted free agent.
There are obviously some players whose names are missing from this list that could certainly be in consideration. Among those are Vegas Golden Knights winger and reigning Conn Smythe Trophy winner Jonathan Marchessault, up-and-coming Montreal Canadiens sniper Cole Caufield, Calgary Flames winger Jonathan Huberdeau, who had an uncharacteristically rough season, Nashville Predators veteran Filip Forsberg and Detroit Red Wings winger Alex DeBrincat.
Obviously, it goes without saying that recency bias is a thing and some of the players are higher than they should be on this list because they had monster seasons in 2022-23. At any rate, it would be tough to argue that not all of these guys belong on this list inside of the top 20.
