One player claimed while over 20 more are placed on waivers
Satuday is a very active day on the NHL's waiver wire. Of the players placed on waivers yesterday just one was claimed. The New York Rangers are a man short after Ty Emberson is claim s by the San Jose Sharks. All other players on waivers Friday have cleared.
Meanwhile, with opening night approaching fast, teams are trimming members of their rosters and putting players on waivers in the hopes of clearing them to the AHL. However, that depends on whether someone is claimed. Here's the list:
Montreal Canadiens: Lucas Condotta, Mitchell Stephens, Nicolas Beaudin, Brady Keeper.
Buffalo Sabres: Devin Cooley, Dustin Tokarski, Justin Richards.
Edmonton Oilers: Forwards Drake Caggiula, Greg McKegg.
Ottawa Senators: Lassi Thomson, Josh Currie, Dillon Heatherington, Garrett Pilon.
New York Rangers: Jake Leschyshyn.
Nashville Predators: Anthony Angello, Kevin Gravel, Troy Grosenick, Jordan Gross
Vegas Golden Knights: Byron Froese, Mason Geertsen, Dysin Mayo, Gage Quinney, Sheldon Rempal, Jonas Rondbjerg.
