He doesn't score enough to get time on the powerplay or defend well enough to earn penalty kill minutes, so his game is limited. In 68 games with the Florida Panthers last season he scored 8 goals and 15 points while averaging only 9:38 in ice time.
White's new contract is a 2-way deal that Carrie's a cap hit of $775,000 at the NHL level and $500,000 in the minors.
