Every year at the NHL Draft combine a team always seems to ask some odd questions and this year is no different as prospects reveal what they were asked.

The National Hockey League combine is upon us this weekend from the Harbor Center in Buffalo, New York, and without question, it reminds those who are into events such as this of the weirdest questions that have been asked during previous combines. The questions that are asked are supposed to interpret or determine someone's character or personality, but sometimes the questions come across very differently.

This year, it has been revealed that prospects are being asked what their Snapchat score and Uber rating are. Nobody will give up the team that asked this, but it certainly is a question! It almost reminds you of what Mike Babcock had been accused of doing before being let go by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Asking players to go through their phones to see there camera roll. That's quite intrusive, no matter how you swing it.

Prospect Calle Odelius was asked by the Montreal Canadiens in 2022 if he would like to take $10 from a toilet seat or $50 from the toilet itself.

That's the kind of stuff where you shake your head and wonder how they think of some of these questions. To be honest, though, if athletes are attending the combine with the intention of playing in the National Hockey League (NHL), it's because they have either already gone through difficult times in their lives or are continuing to be ready for difficult times they will face in the future. It only matters how they handle it going forward, regardless of whether these things occur during the combine or after they are drafted and on the ice.
