The Utah Hockey Club is coming into this season with some high expectations, but mostly as they pertain to branding.

As we reported back on June 14th, the team officially revealed its logos and jerseys for the upcoming season. Now, however, the team has revealed something different. Below, you can find the jersey patch that will be used during Utah's inaugural season in the NHL.
Unfortunately for Utah HC, fans are not liking this one bit and they are making their feelings heard.
"Pretty terrible but it's just temporary, I like the color scheme"

"Yknow for a team that didn't want to rush a logo or name before the season because there's 'not enough time' I've seen a LOT of logos"

"Sooo uninspiring."

Meanwhile, other fans are waiting for the team to decide on a new name. Some of the finalists include Yeti, Blizzard, Mammoth, Outlaws, Venom, and of course, Hockey Club. Only time will tell what the franchise decides, moving forward.
