The Maple Leafs Confirm Their Key Defenceman Will Be Sidelined
The Toronto Maple Leafs just announced some unfortunate news.
As per Luke Fox, the Leafs will be facing the Vegas Golden Knights tonight without one of their key defensemen.
«Timothy Liljegren will not play tonight vs. Vegas. Leafs go with six lefties.»
After yesterday's practice, head coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed that if Liljegren isn't able to play on Tuesday night against Vegas, veteran Mark Giordano will step in.
Last Thursday, the Leafs dominated the Golden Knights with a 7-3 victory. Tonight, they'll aim to replicate that success as Vegas seeks to break their three-game losing streak.
