Wells Fargo Centre Goes Dark Causing An Unfortunate Delay Of Game
In a rare turn of events that you don't witness often, tonight's clash between the Philadelphia Flyers and Tampa Bay Lightning hit an unexpected pause due to a lighting issue.
While the Flyers were on the attack in the Lightning's territory, the arena suddenly plunged into semi-darkness. The referees had no choice but to halt the game on the spot.

At the moment the lights flickered off, the Flyers were leading 1-0. Thankfully, the delay was brief, and action on the ice picked up again shortly. By the end of the first period, the scoreline still favored the Flyers at 1-0. Let's hope the lighting holds up for the rest of the match.
