Patrik Laine has Habs fans in shambles after skipping training camp

Today, it was announced that Laine would be out of training camp due to a therapy day. Essentially, he would be treated for any kind of soreness or injuries he may have sustained in the first few days of camp. After all, he has been working exceptionally hard given the fact he hadn't been on the ice in months.

Despite this context, Habs fans are freaking out. On Twitter, Habs fans were in the comments section talking about how bad Laine is and how this is a bad sign of things to come. Essentially, they believe he is injury-prone and that he is going to be injured all season long. It is a bit of a dramatic way of looking at things, but that's Habs fans for you

Realistically, the fans just need to chill out here and trust the process. Laine will be good eventually. That said, his reputation has certainly contributed to this reaction. In that respect, Laine is certainly at fault for the narrative.
