There have been all sorts of rumors about Kane being put on the long-term injured reserve. Furthermore, there are other reports that the Oilers are receiving offers for Kane as he is still a very valuable asset to have on a team. Oilers fans are concerned, and it is easy to see why.
According to Oilers Daily, it was recently revealed that Kane sold his home in Edmonton to Adam Henrique. Of course, this would make you think that the trade rumors might be real. However, there is a catch to all of this that will quell the fears of Oilers supporters.
Kane already built another home in the area. Simply put, there is nothing to worry about if you are an Oilers fan. He is staying in Edmonton and there are currently no plans for him to leave. If that changes, then something terrible must have happened.
Either way, next season should be an interesting one for the Oilers. They are looking to get back to the Stanley Cup Finals, although this time, they want to win it all. Only time will tell whether or not they can go out there and get it done.
