Jonathan Toews shows fans what he's been up to since leaving hockey

Jonathan Toews left the game of hockey a couple of years ago after continuing to struggle with his health following a scare with COVID-19.
Since that time, it has remained up in the air whether or not Toews is truly retired from the sport or not. However, he has been living his life in the interim, and it seems like he is really finding himself. Sometimes, it is good to get away. As the captain of the Chicago Blackhawks, he has faced tremendous pressures and now, he is living his life to the absolute fullest.
In fact, in his recent Instagram post, he revealed to fans what he has been doing as of late. Recently, he went to Burning Man in the desert, and it was truly a profound experience for him. You can't help but appreciate someone trying new things, especially when it's something not everyone would be comfortable with.

Burning Man is a circus, a total space carnival. Everywhere I looked, I saw something new that blew my mind open wider still.
But never before have I seen a happier, more generous group of human beings caring for each other while absolutely sending it in their own heart-opened abandon. Thank you to the KISS Camp and Burning Man community for helping me once again find the fire that burns within and for the timely lesson that it isn't what you do, it's how you do it."

We wish Toews nothing but the best moving forward. He has been through so much with his health and we just want him to live a great life. Regardless of whether or not he comes back to hockey, he will go down as a legend of the game.
