Evander Kane injury recovery timeline revealed: it's worse than you think

has been a solid player for the Edmonton Oilers, however, injuries have certainly gotten in the way of him showing his full potential.
During the Stanley Cup Finals, Kane dealt with numerous injury issues. In the offseason, there were rumors that Kane might have to get placed on the long-term injured reserve. Instead, it was revealed this past week that he would be getting surgery. As we reported, Kane had his surgery and it was a resounding success.
However, in a new report from Elliotte Friedman, it is being revealed just how long Kane will be out for. Essentially, you won't be seeing him back on the ice until about January or February. That is a devastating blow for the Oilers.
This is a big season for Edmonton. They are fresh off of their first trip to the Stanley Cup Finals since 2016. Moreover, they just signed
Leon Draisaitl to a long-term deal and are in all sorts of salary cap problems. Fans want the team to get over the hump and win a cup, but that is not a guarantee.
