Connor McDavid's Frustration Grows as Oilers Lose Another Game
At the close of the second period, the Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricanes are locked in a fierce battle.
In response to the Canes, the Oilers managed to net another goal, narrowing the score to 3 to 6, with the Canes still holding the lead.
Watching Connor McDavid in action raises questions: is he truly content with three unanswered goals? Is there a chance he might express frustration and consider leaving Edmonton?
Zach Hyman and Mattias Ekholm are the only Oilers who've found the back of the net tonight against the Canes.
McDavid appears to be reaching a tipping point.
The team needs to rediscover their scoring prowess collectively, reminiscent of how they used to play. But for now, we're left with this footage of McDavid looking less than thrilled with the game and who could blame him?
Could this potentially mark a turning point for McDavid and the Oilers if the season doesn't unfold as planned?
