Overall, the Chicago Blackhawks are a team that has had some amazing draft picks over the last couple of decades or so.

Of course, the Blackhawks had the likes of Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane. Moreover, they recently got Connor Bedard as the first-overall pick in the 2023 Entry Draft. However, they actually have another first-overall pick on their team. Of course, we are talking about none other than Taylor Hall who was taken by the Edmonton Oilers back in the day.

According to Blade of Steel, Hall may just be a huge trade piece for the Blackhawks as the season goes on. He missed a lot of time due to injuries last season. Meanwhile, Hall is someone who can still produce at a high level, if given the right opportunity.

At this stage, there is no telling which teams are actually in the running for Hall right now. We are still early in the season and teams still need to assess their best players and who will be right for the job as the season moves forward. Furthermore, if Hall gets injured, then it will be a lot more difficult to deal him.

Having said all of that, Hall is someone who still has some gas left in the tank and we're sure teams will be eager to give him a shot. Only time will tell whether or not his best days are truly behind him or if he can get some 2018 magic going.
