Pyotr Kochetkov narrowly avoid massive suspension in hilarious fashion

Last night, however, in a loss to the St. Louis Blues, Kochetkov almost got into a whole lot of trouble. We say this because Kochetkov jumped the bench following the final whistle so that he could go join a scrum. Of course, this is a 10-game suspension. However, before he could get over there, Hurricanes star Dmitri Orlov was able to grab his jersey and keep him back.

It was quick thinking and it saved the hurricanes from a pretty bad fate. You can check out the play, in the Instagram post down below.

On social media, a lot of fans showcased support to both Kochetkov and Dmitri Orlov. However, there were some fans who find all of this concerning as they want to see Kochetkov do away with some of the antics that are clearly plaguing him right now.
