Trevor Zegras was once regarded as an untouchable for the Anaheim Ducks and the team's future. Four years later, following a hard-fought wage dispute, it looks the Ducks are prepared to let go of their projected Superstar.
There were rumors circulating earlier this month that Zegras offers had started to come in for Anaheim. Though it appeared unlikely at first, it seems like he's becoming closer to reality every day. when teams start getting ready for the NHL draft. Zegras appears to be a potential answer that has been recognized by four teams thus far.
As said by David Pagnotta the forward has drawn interest from the Ottawa Senators, Calgary Flames, Philadelphia Flyers, and Montreal Canadiens.
Zegras has 99 assists and 55 goals in 211 career appearances. Although Zegras was expected to do well, he hasn't lived up to the anticipation. Zegras has been merely average, despite a few highlight-reel goals.
It's expected that a contract for Zegras will be finalized before the NHL Draft's first round is over.
