Two Former NCAA Teammates Fall Victim Of Horrendous Crime
In a heartbreaking event, the New England College women's hockey community mourns the loss of two former players in Miami, Florida. Sidney Capolino, 23, and Meghan Moore, 25, both alumni and former teammates, tragically lost their lives last weekend.
We regret to inform you of the passings of Sidney Capolino (23) and Meghan Moore (25), former players of New England College (NCAA III).
The pair were victims of a double m****r s*****e in Miami last weekend, as they were sh*t to d***h by somebody who was described as an "obsessive s*****r of Moore."
Moore, a 2021 graduate, and Capolino, who completed her studies in 2022, were more than just teammates; they were close friends. The circumstances surrounding their deaths are distressing, with reports indicating Moore was targeted by an individual whose attention had escalated into obsession.
What is going on in this world🤬
Former DII New England College teammates Sidney Capolino and Meghan Moore, who were twenty-three and twenty-five respectfully, were the victims in a double m****r at the hands of an obsessive s******r of Moore in Miami 😳
Contrary to initial police statements suggesting a romantic connection between Moore and the suspect, her family has vehemently disputed such claims. This discrepancy has led to confusion and further anguish for those affected.
New England College has responded to the tragedy by sharing a message of support for students grappling with the loss, ensuring resources are available during this time of grief.
We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of two recent graduates, Sidney Capolino '22 and Meghan Moore '21. They were known to many on campus and we are keeping their families and friends in our thoughts and our prayers. Please contact

Our thoughts are with the families and friends of Sidney Capolino and Meghan Moore as they navigate through this immensely difficult period.
