The NHL Makes Changes to the Schedule for the 2024 Season
The NHL will have to shift their priorities as an announcement today, was made regarding the Arizona Coyotes.
After NHL Insider Frank Seravalli's sunlight uncovered the possible moves for the franchise i.e. Utah, the league has to shift gears to accommodate a big move, should the need arise.
Seravalli expanded upon the need for the NHL to craft two versions of the NHL schedule for the 2024-2025 season.
One schedule will presume the team remains in Arizona, and account for all factors regarding the Meruelo Group's land auction win.
Another NHL schedule will anticipate a sale to the Smith Entertainment Group and the move to Salt Lake City, Utah, and the Delta Center.
This will keep a dynamic approach, as the situation in Arizona continues to be uncertain and deliberations continue in regards to their new, or old home next season.
Ticket holders of the Coyotes and future fans in Utah, continue to wait in anticipation as nothing is official yet, as the wait for the 2024-2025 struggle approaches.
