Last night, rumors began to swirl surrounding the deaths of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew Gaudreau, and it was all because of reporter Dylan Robillard.

This morning, the news surrounding the Gaudreau brothers was confirmed. However, fans were absolutely disgusted with Robillard's reporting as there were no sources attached to it. He just blurted it out and started a firestorm on Twitter that took 12 hours to resolve. Many called him unprofessional for his actions, and others believed he needed to be fired from his job.
Well, that is exactly what happened this morning. Flyers Nitty Gritty took to Twitter and revealed that they have parted ways with Robillard. The events of last night were a bad look for the brand, and they sprung into action.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Gaudreau family during this terrible time. We wish them the best and we hope they get help and support from their community.
Do you agree that the reporter deserved to be fired? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world.
