Jeff Marek's replacement on Elliotte Friedman's 32 Thoughts has been unveiled

This is their biggest hockey podcast, and there has been a lot of anticipation for a new co-host. At the end of the day, Sportsnet needs to get this one right.

Well, this morning, the network announced that Kyle Bukauskas will now be taking the job. Bukauskas has been with the network for quite some time, so it makes sense that he would be given such a promotion. We wish him nothing but the best in this new role.

Overall, fans are not too happy with this news. Of course, it has nothing to do with Bukauskas and his abilities as a broadcaster. Instead, it simply has to do with just how beloved Marek was.
