Evander Kane makes life-changing decision

Evander Kane has always been a polarizing player in the NHL thanks to his on-ice and off-ice persona.
However, ever since coming to the Edmonton Oilers, it has felt like Kane has turned over a new leaf. He is a changed man, and he has an amazing person supporting him. That person is none other than Mara Teigen, his girlfriend. Well, on Wednesday, Kane revealed to the world that Teigen is now a lot more than just his girlfriend.
The two are officially engaged. Kane made the announcement on Instagram and posted a plethora of photos of the two looking extremely happy. They are a beautiful couple and it is clear that Kane is deeply in love.
"A long time coming @marateigen so lucky to have you and our beautiful family. The strength, love and dedication to our kids and I is second to none. You were always the one."
This upcoming season should be an interesting one for Kane. He has been injured throughout the offseason and there has been a lot of talk about whether or not he should be placed on the long-term injured reserve. However, GM Stan Bowman has noted that there is no reason to do that just yet. Instead, it is believed that Kane will be ready to go in time for the upcoming season.
