Seattle Kraken sign defender to biggest contract in team history
The Seattle Kraken managed to avoid a painful arbitration hearing today as they were able to sign defender Vince Dunn to a contract extension. If Dunn had have gone to arbitration he'd have only been able to sign a 1 year deal. Instead Ron Francis was able to lockdown Dunn to a long-term deal.
Dunn has agreed to terms on a 4 year deal worth $29.4 million ($7.35 million per year) with the Kraken
Seattle and Vince Dunn have a pre-arbitration agreement at 4x$7.35M
Dunn, 26, is coming off the best season of his career. Dunn managed to double his career high in points. In 81 games last year Dunn scored 14 goals and added 50 helpers.
