Player snaps and attacks opponent with stick during roller hockey
Sometimes when you're playing competitive sports your temper can get the best of you. While most beer leaguers are just trying to have a good time with their friends, there are always those guys who take things to a dangerous level. That's exactly what happens in the following video.
There haven't been many videos of what led to this incident, but it looks like something is said from the bench that sets off this melee. In the video the player in the white jersey violently swings his stick at the player in the dark colored jersey. The violent slash is enough to make Marty McSorley uncomfortable.
The play was quickly blown dead and the player in white was tossed. One surprising note from the video is no teammates comes to the aid of the player being attacked. Which in my history as a player, is usually because that player brings everything on themselves.
However, it looks like this player is likely looking at a lengthy ban.
