Long-time NHLer gets ejected after he snaps and tries to fight all five members of the other team
Emotions can run high on the ice, the emotion is part of the reason people love hockey as much as they do. It's also why fans love players like Kyle Clifford so much. Clifford's style of, hitting, fighting and thriving off those often high emotions are how he contributes to his team.
Yesterday, Clifford who now plays with the Toronto Marlies were taking on the Utica Comets when tempers boiled over.
With the Marlies leading 4-1 and the first period winding down, Clifford and Samuel Laberge dropped the gloves for a spirited tilt.
After the players are separated it looks like Clifford still wants a piece of multiple players on the Comets, even continually trying to go after them as the officials are trying to get him off the ice.
Clifford was ultimately shown his way to the showers as he was ejected from the game.
