Kadri Shows Frustration Dropping The Gloves With Blue Jackets Centerman
The Calgary Flames hugely disappointed last season, with a lot of their top guys having down years and are looking to rebound. One of those is Nazem Kadri, but unfortunately for Naz he's been quiet to start the new campaign, with only one assist to his name.
With the score 0-0 in the first, Kadri decided to inject some life into his team by dropping the gloves with Blue Jackets forward Cole Sillinger. The two had a spirited tilt which ended with a Kadri knockdown. Both men received a five minute major on the play with Sillinger getting an extra two minutes for a previous interference call.
Despite Kadri's efforts the Flames weren't able to generate enough offence on the night losing to the Jackets 3-1. Kadri displayed a valiant effort, firing six shots on net but came up empty failing to record a point in 17:36 of ice time.
