Arizona Coyotes top prospect reportedly set to make surprising decision about his future with the franchise
Despite multiple reports that Logan Cooley has already made his decision to return to the University of Minnesota, it suddenly appears that's not the case. According to multiple reports Cooley, the 2022 3rd overall pick is now considering skipping another year and signing with the franchise.
Today Craig Morgan and Joe Smith multiple reports have surfaced about Cooley's future.
«For right now, I'm on track for going back and helping Minnesota win a national championship and continuing to grow my game,» Cooley said. «But I'm still going to evaluate some things. I don't want the media to go crazy thinking that I'm not going back to school, but there's a little bit of thought to put into it.»
Last year Cooley, 19, scored 22 goals and added 38 assists in just 39 games for the University of Minnesota. If Cooley makes the jump to the NHL it will be one of the first positive signs for the Coyotes that things are beginning to change for the franchise.
