Anaheim Ducks come to terms on a massive extension with Troy Terry
The Anaheim Ducks are deep within their rebuild and are preparing to take a big step forward this season. To do that they'll need their young core to continue to progress. The Ducks were set to go to arbitration this week with forward Troy Terry but today the team announced they had instead reached an agreement on a new contract.
The Ducks announced the deal via their official Twitter account.
Some Terry good news!
We've agreed to terms on a seven-year contract with two-time All-Star winger @troyterry1997.
Last season for Anaheim, Terry scored 61 points in 70 games. Terry's point totals dropped from the year before when he put up 67 points including 37 goals the year before. The Ducks will need Terry to find his scoring touch if they hope to get out of the Western Conference basement.
