Seattle Kraken Prospect Suffers Terrifying Head Injury After Brutal Fight
Yesterday's match between the North Bay Battalion and Sudbury Wolves took a worrisome turn when Seattle Kraken prospect Ty Nelson engaged in a fight with Andre Anania. Unfortunately, Nelson, a teenager, lost his helmet during the scuffle, got hit a few times, and ended up hitting his head on the ice.
«Scary scene in Sudbury tonight as #SeaKraken prospect Ty Nelson gets in a fight and smokes his head off the ice. He was clearly dazed after and obviously did not return for the 3rd period. North Bay would lose in OT, getting swept in the huge home and home vs Sudbury #OHL»
Nelson, visibly shaken, required assistance from teammates and trainers as he left the ice. While fighting is a part of hockey, incidents like this are undeniably distressing. Wishing Nelson a speedy recovery and a quick return to the game.
