This former NHL enforcer let his emotions get the best of him during an AHL game when a player from the opposing team sparked a heated confrontation with his team's bench after scoring a goal.

Clifford Takes Action Against Duszak's Celebration

Kyle Clifford, known for his tough play in the NHL, showed he's still got that fire during a recent Marlies versus Thunderbirds matchup. After Joseph Duszak scored and celebrated near the Marlies bench, Clifford took offense.

«Joseph Duszak finds the back of the net against his former team and has some words for the #Marlies.»

Clifford wasted no time, immediately going after Duszak during the ensuing faceoff, resulting in a scuffle on the ice.

«Kyle Clifford immediately goes after Joseph Duszak off the puck drop following his goal against the #Marlies.»

Duszak's Past with the Marlies Adds Fuel to the Fire

Duszak's involvement in the incident comes as a surprise, considering his history with the Marlies. However, reports suggest there was tension between him and the team. Allegedly, he was unhappy with his playing time and even left the team abruptly.

«There's a rough history between Duszak and the Marlies.

The Marlies lost the last game of 21-22 and as a result missed the playoffs. Duszak didn't play. There was talk about him being upset about playing 4RW rather than D. Crocker says here he straight up bailed on the team»
