The Vegas Golden Knights have lost another starting goaltender due to injury after Logan Thompson was hurt during practice. Thompson made a save during a routine drill but shortly after he appeared to show discomfort which turned into limping as he left the ice.
There is no word on what Thompson is suffering from which is likely to be described as a lower body injury. This is not what the Vegas golden Knights need as they are without the services of Adin Hill as he is suffering from a lower body injury as well.
The Golden Knights are currently holding the second wild card and have complete control of their destiny. They have two games in hand of St Louis and have 92 points through 76 games. With both goalies injured that does not help their case though they do have some separation at this time.
