This season, the Utah Hockey Club will be looking to show fans that Salt Lake City truly can house an NHL franchise.

Overall, it is not going to be an easy task, especially when you consider how the Delta Center only seats about 11,000 fans and there are a ton of renovations that need to be done. Having said that, this is going to be an incredibly interesting season for the team. Fans have shown up and showed out during the preseason. Moreover, there seems to be some real enthusiasm around the franchise.
One way the franchise is looking to bring people through the door is thanks to their absurdly low concession prices. Below, you can see that the team is offering food and drinks at extremely low prices that will make fans excited.
"Utah Hockey Club has unveiled their new concessions prices and they're some of the lowest in the NHL:

Water: $2
Popcorn: $3
Nachos: $3
Hot Dogs: $3
Ice Cream: $3"

While this is great news, fans should remain skeptical about the sizes that will be offered. Sure, the prices may be good, but will the portions be acceptable? That remains to be seen. Either way, it is better than many teams who charge $7 for water and force you to take out a loan just for some hot dogs. It's something that is worth applauding and it seems like Utah really does care about the fan experience.
Do you believe that this is going to bring more people into the door at Utah games? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite players and teams.
