Jeremy Swayman and the Boston Bruins are currently in some deep contract talks right now and it seems like Cam Neely has finally had enough.

While speaking to the media, Neely confirmed that the Bruins offered Swayman a contract of eight years at $8 million per year. Overall, this is a pretty hefty deal that would pay Swayman a total of $64 million. However, it still appears to be under what Swayman was hoping for as some reports have stated that he is looking more for something in the $10 million range.

Now, Swayman is being called out by Neely in a pretty big way. In his comments to the media, which there will be more of later today, Neely said that if he were Swayman, he would be playing right now.

"I have 64 million reasons why I'd be playing right now."

If you are a Bruins fan, you can't help but feel like all of this has gone too far.

These are some wild comments to make, especially during contract negotiations. It is clear that the Bruins are trying to force Swayman's hand and get him to stop his holdout. Now, the ball is in his court and the Bruins are expecting a response. Only time will tell whether or not Neely's tactics here end up backfiring.
