Morgan Rielly Takes A Stand Against The DoPS And Files an Official Appeal
Reporter Chris Johnston broke the news regarding Toronto Maple Leafs star defenceman Morgan Rielly.
In response to the NHL's decision to suspend him for five games due to a hit on Ottawa Senators Ridley Greig, Morgan Rielly has chosen to file an appeal.
"Morgan Rielly will be filing an appeal to NHL commissioner Gary Bettman on his five-game suspension,"
The incident occurred over the weekend when Greig scored a controversial empty-net goal with a slap-shot. Rielly, displeased with the play, delivered a hit to Greig's head.
