BREAKING: Tampa Bay Lightnings New Third Jersey Has Been Leaked
The Tampa Bay Lightning is set to bring back a third jersey for the first time since 2022, and guess what? It's going to be predominantly black.
Popular uniform and logo reporter, Icethetics, dropped a hint on X Wednesday evening, suggesting that the Lightning would soon unveil a new third jersey. It didn't take long for the uniform to leak.
In the comments, an account named @seaniboiyates shared an image of a black Tampa Bay Lightning jersey featuring their current shoulder patch enlarged and used at the front crest.
The jersey also showcases three stripes on each sleeve in white, blue, and gray. Inside the collar adds a unique touch, displaying the years '04, '20, and '21 signifying the three years the Lightning clinched the Stanley Cup in their franchise history.
Considering that the leak comes from an actual store and seems to be available for purchase already, there's a strong likelihood that the Lightning will officially reveal it soon, possibly this week.
