BREAKING: Connor Bedard Signs Massive Multi-Year Deal Outside Of The NHL
Chicago Blackhawks rising star, Connor Bedard, recently grabbed attention by inking a significant non-NHL deal with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC). The financial powerhouse, valued at an impressive $42.3 billion as of December 15, has brought Bedard on board as an ambassador and spokesperson.
Bedard broke the news via PR Newswire, marking a noteworthy milestone in his career. In this collaboration, Bedard, a long-time customer of CIBC, will represent and work alongside the financial institution.
This partnership allows Bedard to concentrate on his on-ice endeavors while receiving support from CIBC for his off-ice interests. CIBC, a major player in the financial world serving over 14 million customers, is renowned for its diverse services and robust online banking system.
As an ambassador, Bedard will actively engage in initiatives highlighting community involvement and goal pursuit, aligning with CIBC's principles. One notable initiative is CIBC Miracle Day, a philanthropic event that has globally raised $300 million for children's charities. Bedard's involvement is poised to amplify these efforts and inspire generosity.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the collaboration, Bedard remarked:
"My family has been clients of CIBC for a long time. They are the first and only bank I've used since growing up in Vancouver. I'm excited to take this next step as an ambassador for the bank that's been there for me throughout my journey so far, both on and off the ice."
