Bruins officially announce Jack Edwards' replacement

Jack Edwards announced his retirement from calling Boston Bruins games last year, and as you can imagine, fans were pretty devastated.
Well, today, a whole new era of Boston Bruins hockey on NESN was announced. Judd Sirott will now be the new play-by-play analyst for the original six franchise. In fact, he will get to do the games alongside Andy Brickley.
Sirott was a radio broadcaster for the Bruins prior to this, so there is no doubt he is one of the most experienced men for the job. Only time will tell whether or not the fans love him as much as they loved Edwards.
«This job is unrivaled around the National Hockey League: an Original Six team, in a spectacular hockey market, in one of the premier cities in the country,» said Judd Sirott. «It's my honor to be NESN's new play-by-play announcer for the Boston Bruins.
