Boston Bruins remain tight lipped on game strategy ahead of game one
As the Boston Bruins prepare for another intense matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the opening round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, excitement is building among fans.
With both teams knowing each other's game plans inside out, even the smallest advantage could be crucial. As they gear up for Game 1 on Saturday night, the Bruins seem to be keeping their strategies under wraps.
Head coach
Jim Montgomery remained tight-lipped about the starting goaltender, declining to reveal whether it would be
Linus Ullmark or
Jeremy Swayman taking the lead.
"We have decided but we're not sharing it with you guys," Montgomery stated firmly. "I think [Don Sweeney] explained it great yesterday."
General manager Don Sweeney also dodged questions about the goaltending situation, maintaining a sense of mystery. Despite the media's inquiries, Sweeney expressed confidence in both Ullmark and Swayman.
"We're very confident in our goaltending," Sweeney affirmed. "The noise that goes on outside is not necessarily filtered as much inside as what people may believe because our goalies know what the plan is and we're comfortable with it."
With Game 1 just around the corner, anticipation is at its peak. The suspense surrounding the starting goaltender will soon be lifted as the Bruins and the Maple Leafs hit the ice tonight.
