Now, reporter Frank Seravalli is uncovering what he says is the actual offer that the Bruins gave Swayman. Essentially, they offered eight years at $7.8 million. Meanwhile, Swayman is looking for $8.5 million. Simply put, these sides are not that far apart, however, they have made it seem like they are. Only time will tell who wins the PR war.
