The Boston Bruins Are On The Verge Of Terminating Milan Lucic's Contract
On November 19th, 2023, Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins faced Domestic Abuse charges, prompting an upcoming trial on Feb 16th.
Initially, the Bruins voiced support, but they've since chosen silence. Lucic is currently on indefinite leave and injured reserve, with the team maintaining an "innocent until proven guilty" stance.
While the CBA Morality Clause empowers Boston to take action, the general expectation is that they might address the situation during the offseason unless Lucic is proven guilty before the season concludes.
The uncertainty surrounding the legal proceedings leaves Lucic's future with the Bruins uncertain.
