Vancouver Canucks trade Tanner Pearson hours after taking him off of injured reserve
The Vancouver Canucks announced earlier today that the team had activated Tanner Pearson from injury reserve. Pearson missed all but 14 games last season after a mistake by the Canucks medical team led to major issues with his surgically repaired hand.
Just hours after being activated the Canucks have officially sent Pearson east. According to Frank Seravalli the Canucks will receive Casey DeSmith in return for Pearson and will include a 3rd round pick heading back to Montreal.
