End of an Era: CapFriendly Shuts Down Following Sale to Washington Capitals

Hockey fans are saying goodbye to an invaluable resource as CapFriendly has officially shut down their website overnight. The popular tool for all things related to the NHL's salary cap, player contracts, and more, has ceased operations following its sale to the Washington Capitals.

For anyone attempting to visit CapFriendly after midnight, a message greets them, thanking fans for their support over the past nine years.
