Per the latest reports, it appears that at least one, if not more, of the veteran Penguins players will be moved within the next 72 hours leading up to the deadline.

The trade deadline week has finally arrived. A few of the more intriguing deals have been made this weekend, but the Penguins sit idle. Not for long, however.
GM Kyle Dubas will be very busy for the next three days trying to acquire young assets, something he's been aggressively seeking for a year.
Veterans such as Matt Grzelcyk, Anthony Beauvillier, and Noel Acciari are available, and at least one is likely to be traded. In fact, most of the Penguins' roster is up for grabs, as per The Athletic's Rob Rossi.
"Penguins hockey boss Kyle Dubas will be in the spotlight for the next five days, looking to add young assets as he has done aggressively for a year.

Veterans such as Matt Grzelcyk, Anthony Beauvillier and Noel Acciari are available. It would be a surprise if at least one of them isn't moved."

Pittsburgh has one big plus: they're one of a tiny group of teams obviously in sell mode. Only six teams, the Penguins, Sabres, Kraken, Blackhawks, Sharks, and Predators, are more than six points out of a playoff spot as of Tuesday night.

Many contending teams could be reaching out to Kyle Dubas

Although the Ducks and Islanders may sell too, most teams still consider themselves to be contenders. That leaves buyers in front of sellers.
Dubas has a hectic week in front of him. It is not a fire sale, but there are a number of trades that appear inevitable. The market has tipped solidly in the seller's direction, and nobody foresaw this.
Having no clear-cut favorite to capture the Stanley Cup, a dozen clubs believe they have a valid shot. That uncertainty could propel furious bidding wars, and the Penguins would absolutely love to cash in.
