The Florida Panthers seemed to have sliced the Edmonton Oilers' lead in half after they went out to a 2-0 lead. The Panthers appeared to have life after Stuart Skinner was defeated by Alex Barkov. Sadly, the Oilers challenged the play for offside, which hurt the Panthers.
After a long review the referees made the decision to side with the Oilers and that's when Paul Maurice went off on the decision. Maurice let the referees have it, but to no avail as the goal would not stand.
