Since entering the lineup during the end of the New York Rangers season, Matt Rempe has increased his enthusiasm, and it seems that he is becoming adept at playing the villain by mocking the opposition almost as much as he was teased in his early career.

Tuesday night, during a pause in play, cameras captured Rempe waving his finger toward veteran Kyle Okposo of the Florida Panthers. toward first, you have to wonder what the heck Rempe is doing, but then you realize that it's exactly what his coaches and veteran teammates have instructed him to do. You might as well try your hardest to taunt your opponent if you are unable to physically resist.

The twenty-one-year-old has preached throughout his young career that he's grateful for every moment he has been given and that he's enjoying being a part of the New York Rangers and their success this season. Despite making some poor decisions that have occasionally cost him and his teammates, he's brought much-needed toughness and value to a team that has historically struggled to find its identity, particularly during the playoffs.

Rempe has a definite role with the Rangers, so it's wonderful to see him having fun in the unscripted moments captured on camera. There is no limit to where he can go if he keeps this up, even though a lengthy career isn't certain.
