Edmonton Oilers fans fight after Game 6 win
Fans removed their gloves in a custom that has grown to be part of game day festivities following the Edmonton Oilers' Stanley Cup Finals victory against the Dallas Stars.
After the Edmonton Oilers secured a spot in the Stanley Cup Finals, two supporters let their emotions get the better of them on what should have been the biggest night of the season. The event is captured on camera on the LRT station platform in a video that YEGWave uploaded on X.
As fans attempt to make their way home, two of them are seen fighting on the platform in the footage. In an attempt to record the incident, fans on the train whip out their phones.
It has become somewhat of a ritual for Oilers fans to fight after games during the playoffs. Fortunately, it seems unlikely that this will be the last scrap out of Edmonton as the Stanley Cup Finals begin on Saturday night.
