It's been an exciting and whirlwind time for the now former Arizona Coyotes and their players. As the team prepares to go inactive and the sale complete, coyotes players arrived today for their first time in Salt Lake City and were greeted by many new fans.

This new team who has been purchased by Ryan Smith and his wife Ashley who owned Smith Entertainment Group have done an excellent job in such a short period of time to get fans to key places to see the new team as it arrived.

Soon after their arrival, the players were driven to their new home the delta centre to which the Smith family had a welcome the team party in which 12,000 new fans were waiting for their arrival. Players got their firsthand look at the building and the excitement that the fans held as they walked around and shook hands and signed autographs which is a welcome sight to see considering what was going on in Arizona.

There is plenty of work to be done between now and puck drop in early October and it will be a tall task for the Smith Entertainment Group to get everything ready. It's clear that Utah owner Ryan Smith an his group are ready for this challenge.
