With the often-ridiculous Edmonton reporters, Oilers star Leon Draisaitl has shown he has little patience. With the team struggling to star the season, Draisaitl didn't hold back his thoughts or emotions with a reporter when he asked a sensitive question.
After falling to the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 in overtime off the back of a game-tying goal from the Jets on a mistake from goaltender Stuart Skinner, Draisaitl was asked his thoughts on the goalie's failure.
The reporter asked what Draisaitl would say to Skinner following the game-altering blunder, and Draisaitl was clearly taken aback and annoyed by the question.
"What do you want me to say to him? He made a mistake. Like, big deal. Nothing to say to him. We all make mistakes."
As he's grown into a true professional and veteran in this league, Draisaitl has a history of battling with reporters on behalf of his teammates - like this situation. Although he his sticking up for his team in the press, the Oilers do need to find a way to turn the tides on the ice and find success sooner than later.
