Former NHL Enforcer the Target of a Sports Memorabilia Robbery
Former NHL enforcer, Georges Laraque, who had a 14-year career in the NHL, posted footage on his Twitter/X account this morning of his card shop in Laval, Quebec, being broken into, and the person responsible stealing a bunch of memorabilia.
"My card store "Ultime Sports Collection Laval" was just smashed and robbed tonight, if you have any information on this person, write to me privately!!!"
The first video Laraque posted shows the perpetrator, while the alarm is heard in the background, opening a display case and fitting all the cards and memorabilia he can find into a bag.
In the second video, you can see the hooded thief with two bags walk past the store. Another person walks by, gets into a car and leaves. The thief returns, grabs what appears to be pickaxe, and breaks the glass out of the bottom of the shop's door. He then crawls inside. After robbing the store, he then crawls out through the broken door and walks away. He leaves the pickaxe in the store and the second bag outside of the store.
If you know anything, reach out to George Laraque on X or any other of his social media platforms, or please reach out to local authorities.
