With the post-season steadily approaching, the team has received the worst news.

As superstar Connor McDavid will be absent from the lineup tomorrow, against Jack Eichel and the defending cup champs.

Kris Knoblauch's hire has been a revelation for the Edmonton Oilers who have been on an upswing, since his arrival.

The team will need firepower to defeat the Golden Knights and their score-by-committee style of offense that Bruce Cassidy loves.

Mark Spector speculated that McDavid suffered the injury Sunday against their Alberta rivals, the Calgary Flames.

Connor McDavid has played 74 games for the Oilers this season, with 130 points( 31 G, 99 A) and the Oilers will need all the help they can get as McDavid is day-to-day.
