Terrible News Hits Montreal Canadians Star Forward
Montreal Canadiens will face an absence in their lineup as forward Alex Newhook is sidelined for an extended period.
A high ankle sprain has befallen him, and he's expected to be out of action for a minimum of 10-12 weeks:
Newhook, in his inaugural season with the Canadiens, entered the league as the 16th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft by the Colorado Avalanche. Over 182 NHL games, he has contributed with 34 goals and 45 assists.
