While not the typical hockey hotspots, the Florida Panthers and Arizona Coyotes showcased their warrior spirit in their recent clash. The last encounter left a trail of animosity, with uncalled big hits sparking retaliation desires among players. Today's game had an early start to the intensity, with verbal exchanges echoing through warmups.

The puck hit the ice, and so did the gloves, as two of the feistiest players, Florida's Ryan Lomberg and Arizona's Jack McBain, engaged in a spirited bout. Despite not being the biggest guys, both threw wild punches, with McBain seemingly edging out Lomberg in a battle that raged until the refs intervened.

No sooner had the game resumed than another skirmish erupted, this time featuring Liam O'Brien and Jonah Gadjovich. Though boasting more seasoned fighters, the referees swiftly stepped in, eager to move beyond the fisticuffs and get on with the game.

The initial spark for this bad blood? Check it out here:

In the opening period alone, Florida seized control, fiercely defending their home ice and already leading the Coyotes 3-0 as the first period wrapped up.
